| Agreed, played a lot of the warhawk demo and loved it. If I'm not mistaken there's going to be an open beta sometime after the private one their currently in is up, definitely going to be checking it out. | |

| It's a third person, capture-the-flag shooter with some twists.
You will be able to "summon" bunkers, walls and bases to help you hold objectives on the battlefield.
It's set in space, and your character has access to a "jetpack" which will let him hover above the battlefield and rain down chaos.
Your character also has the ability to "become" a fighter jet and areal combat will be a large portion of the game. Presumably without the need to fight over who gets to use the jet. | |

| What I gathered from Warhawk and the stuff I've watched for this game, the mech suits you enter have the ability to change on the fly into aerial fighters. I don't think you "morph" into a jet or anything like that. | |

| Ok so the beta is out to the public now, but you have to have playstation +. Luckily I do, and have been able to spend a few hours with the game. While there is a very steep learning curb (no tutorial or training) once you get the hang of it this game is immense fun.
Any soldier can air drop buildings into the map depending on how many points they have accumulated, and these range from walls to docks for starhawks. Fighting is flashy and hectic with plenty of opportunity for coordinated strikes on enemy bases. Definitely recommend anyone with a PS+ account check this out. | |

| Hell yes.
You know what sucks, though? Building a wall enclosure for your flag and putting turrets on every wall, then having some retard come through and convert them ALL to gate walls... totally destroying all the turrets.
I had a match today where I went 10/3 just from defending the flag. Got 5900 points and first place... next guy down had 1800. | |
