So my headset just broke. what do you guys run? I will probably be out of coms for a few weeks. But will follow orders and run backup/gunner/scout.

i use the Playstation head set i've had too much trouble with other brands so i just keep useing that one might as well pay the $60 and be done with it =P

I've been thinking about buying the giotech ones, which seem to have pretty good reviews and look awesome. Right now I use the PS3 bluetooth to connect to the PS3, and a much better motorola to connect to my laptop for mumble. Sadly, the PS3 will not connect properly to A2DP bluetooth devices, or I'd eliminate the PS3 one entirely.

Sony Wireless Stereo headset, same as Engi's.
Though I tend to have one ear cup off to hear the game when using mumble.

Madcatz ps3 mic. It's pretty bad with limited functions but it was only like 10 euros.

I use the TB PX5; it connects to my playstation and my phone at the same time. I don't have a pc near my ps3 so this makes mumble possible. Factory sound is great, outside noise cancellation is minimal and battery life is pretty good but get yourself some rechargeables. I like these better than my Tritton axpro. Though they served me well and were cheaper, the TB are more durable, customizable, comfortable, and sound quality is incredible.
